#INDvKGZ. I see this trending and I am trying to figure which cricket fixture this is. My lesson that there is more to sport than cricket!

Chhetri drilled a lot shot with his right foot off a fine pass from Jeje Lalpekhlua in the 69th minute to lead India to a crucial win in the home leg tie of the Group A third round qualifiers of the 2019 Asian Cup. India are now boasting a winning streak of 8 matches after the win over Kyrgyz Republic, the game saw many chances at both the ends of the pitch but with nothing to show in the score line. Kyrgyz had a shot deflected off the post in the second half which proved to be their closest chance of the match while Indian goalkeeper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu made at least three brilliant saves to ensure that the hosts walked away with all three points. Chhetri, who scored his 54th goal in his 94th match, has put India atop the group with six points – from two wins – ahead of Kyrgyzstan and Myanmar who both have three points from two matches.

At 32, Sunil Chhetri’s legs are faster than the brains of some of his teammates. Honestly. #INDvKGZ

India’s next match is against Macau, an away game, on September 5. Can India repeat the brilliant show once more and finish the league stages with momentum going forward?
