The Indian Football community moans the loss of a stalwart today.

Captain T K S Mani, who had helped Kerala win the first Santhosh Trophy in 1973, passed away at a private hospital in Kochi at 10.30 p.m.

He was suffering from multiple ailments, including diabetes, cholesterol and liver-related complications. He was admitted to the hospital last Friday. His body will be kept at Kalpaka Tourist Home, near Changampuzha Park, at Edappally from 8 p.m. on Friday for the people to pay homage and will be cremated at the crematorium at Edappally at 12 noon.
